I really love food. Apparently, too much food can be a bad thing. I hear exercise can counteract that problem. I run so I can eat. Thus, I love to run.

Yesterday was a 3 mile Johnny Cash style run. Not that I think Johnny was a runner, but I was wearing all black…

It was “misting” throughout the run, so my hair had some nice little curls coming out the sides. Hard to see in the picture though.
The run was good. I didn’t feel quite so heavy this run, but I wasn’t quite light on my feet either. My calves hurt a little, but nothing major. And I quite enjoy the rainy runs. It wasn’t pouring or anything, so it didn’t weigh me down at all.  It was just a short, quiet, peaceful run. 
I am definitely in rest mode this week. I think I will try another couple miles on Wednesday and then I will just see how I feel after that. I might try a mile or two on Saturday morning or Friday night. But, nothing more before the race.
