I really love food. Apparently, too much food can be a bad thing. I hear exercise can counteract that problem. I run so I can eat. Thus, I love to run.
So, there is a reason that I don’t really eat stuff like this anymore. Oh, it was tasty and I enjoyed it. But, I couldn’t finish it. And by the time I was near done, I was feeling crappy and lethargic. I had to eat some fruit to try and maintain some sort of balance in my system. I used to eat bagels a lot and now, my body just doesn’t handle them easily. And the processed cheese? Well, next time I won’t be so lazy and I will just cut up some actual cheese.
I am glad that my food tastes have changed over the years.
Or maybe next time I will just stick with my good ole stand by, Frosted Mini Wheats. Those are always good to me. 90% of the time, that is what I have for breakfast. Other than that, it is usually a scrambled egg and some whole wheat toast.
So, today I managed to get the Jeep vacuumed out. I know, I am so accomplished :) That sucker was filthy! Now, I just need to wash the outside. And I am about to head down to the basement to get some cleaning done. I am in need of a shower due to the high temps while cleaning out the Jeep outside. But, I am going to push through, clean the basement, and then I am going to go jump in the pool next door. Ah, I feel refreshed just thinking about it. And THEN, I hope to get a semi-long run in. And then, I will shower. And that will feel mighty good.
That is the great part about hot days and working hard and sweating. Showers feel darn good and cold water tastes oh so fantastic. Oh, and those popsicles we had earlier, those were glorious.
