And I didn’t walk that hill! In either direction. I did walk after the hill for a bit on the way back, but that is ok. Little victories. The top of the hill is actually an overpass of I-94, so I enjoy walking that and taking in the wind and whoosh of the cars underneath.
And then I had to stop off on the side of the road for a minute to let a tractor pass. It was one of those wide ones that take up the entire side of the road plus the shoulder. And there was a car coming the other way, so I just took myself out of the equation. So, with all that, that is why my pace so much slower on the 3rd mile.
I am actually surprised my pace was under 9 minutes at all. Some days, you just never know ;)
It was a hot one out there today. Hot and muggy. But, I know I am preaching to the choir with that.
Oh, and then Peyten helped me pack my lunch today. She put my yogurt in the bag for me. And then at some point, she must have put the spoon in there. I don’t normally bring one because there is silverware here, but I guess she was just making sure I had everything I need, lol. Nothing like a simple spoon to bring a smile to my face after I get to work.
