I really love food. Apparently, too much food can be a bad thing. I hear exercise can counteract that problem. I run so I can eat. Thus, I love to run.

30. What’s in your makeup bag?
Yeah, this probably says a lot about me. My make up bag is small and it includes a lot of crap that really just needs to be thrown away.
I wear make up….maybe 3 times a month. I just do it every once in a while when I feel like it. Most of the time, I go without.
So, since my make up goes bad before I ever use it all, I usually buy cheap stuff. And even with what I do wear…it is usually a smidge of cover up, eye shadow, mascara, and lipstick. Pretty simple.
I just have never been real big on doing up my face. Maybe in high school for a while and that is it.
On a side note:The kids have an uncle who once told Charly “only clowns wear make up”. He was trying to deter her from wanting to wear make up…or he didn’t want her to feel like she needed to wear make up to be pretty.
His intentions were good, but just not the way I see things.
What I do/will teach my girls: Make up is fun. It can be fun. You don’t need make up. You are beautiful with and with out. It is entirely up to you how you want to present yourself. Whether it be au natural or caked on. Seriously, whatever makes you comfortable and happy. Beauty definitely does not come from what is on your face. Beauty comes from how you choose to present yourself…whatever form that may be.
Extra side note: My girls are not allowed to wear make up outside the house. I am still not sure what age I will be comfortable with that. So, the above advice is obviously for when they are older. ;)
